Osteopathy
Osteopathy is an established system of diagnosis and manual treatment. Its main strength lies in the unique way the Osteopath assesses and treats the patient.
Osteopathy focuses on establishing and treating the cause of the problem, as oposed to just relieving the symptoms.
This is achieved by assessing all the surrounding joints and muscles. If these are not functining properly, they may be placing a strain on the painful area.
Treatment involves gentle mobilisation, soft tissue techniques, postural advice and rehabilitation exercise instruction.
